We were talking about different sports over the weekend and one sport I’ve never played is waterpolo.
I don’t think my high school had a waterpolo team at all – it definitely seems like a sport that I should get into.
I’m thinking that once I’m finished visiting Kip in Colorado that I’ll head back to San Fran. I’m not sure how long I’ll stay but I might even stay for the summer. If I do then I think I’d like to maybe take up waterpolo. I don’t think I’ll be any good but I do swim a bunch and I am comfortable in the water.
And it is one of the last ‘speedo friendly’ sports out there – I suppose diving is still speedo friendly too. Now we just need mens volleyball and swimming to be speedo friendly as well. Just imagine mens beach volleyball and the guys in speedos only – what a wonderful dream!!!!

Dave, Besides waterpolo, you might like underwater hockey. It is played @ the bottom of the pool and is fun and you get to see speedo boys underwater. Breath holding helps.. I would imagine there would be a gay uw hockey team in SF. Give it a try sometime.. Speedo on stud..Xo

Agreed, water polo is totally hot…
I suspect part of the reason it is speedo-friendly, whereas a lot of regular ol’ professional/competitive swimming isn’t these days, is because water polo is a full-contact sport. to some degree. So, the less you give your opponent something to “hold onto,” the better off you’ll be. Yes, they do make some water-polo suits that are a bit fuller in cut, but the majority tend to be small like the ones above, and all the better because of it…!

It’s also better to wear speedos than jammers in water polo because you have to kick and move your legs so much.
