This afternoon I’m sitting in my hotel room doing some work while I wait for Natalie to finish work and Will to make the 2hr drive up from Sydney and then the weekend will begin.
The weather is miserable which is a shame but since my plan is that the three of us will spend most of the weekend in the bedroom it shouldn’t bother us too much.
This is the first time I’ve been in this hotel (which is the only real one here – and it a whole 800m from my house). I didn’t even realise there was this huge pool right above the pub that I go to pretty much once a week. Crazy.

Enjoy! I’m envious–it is my birthday today, and I wish I could be spending it in a place like that, with the activities you have planned…but alas, I’ll have to make do with a very cold Seattle instead.
