Today I’m sitting here writing this post and I’m wondering how I can wear my white Aussiebum Coolabah’s to the pool.
I’ve worn then in the hottub with Kip and Will but I’ve never gone swimming in them. They are just too see through for me to wear them when they are wet. Does anyone have any ideas? I thought that perhaps I could go swimming like the half hour before the pool closes – less light might be enuf for me to get away with.

Just do it! Be confident and go about it as if it were another pair. You can wear anything and look good in it if you are confident you look good. Being nervous will only draw attention to your situation, they will look harder to see what is making you nervous. Don’t wait untill the end of the day. The point is for people to see and enjoy.

Walt,
I like your confidence mate.
I don’t quite share your confidence but it is more about whether or not it is appropriate at all.

Here’s an idea–get a white swim jock to wear underneath it. (Or some other color–why the heck not?) Then, even though it will still be see-through and people will see you’ve got something on underneath, “modesty” will be preserved, and then no one can possibly think you’re wearing it just to be a perv and an exhibitionist (not that wearing a white speedo is to be a perv or an exhibitionist, mind you…but to allay any fears in the minds of those who might think otherwise). You’ll end up making them uncomfortable with being so interested in what you’re wearing, and there will be no time for you to be uncomfortable about it yourself as you give them a knowing smile that exudes confidence!
I say go for it!

Wear it proudly, publicly, and let everyone get a load of you. That’s what I always did in my younger days. It was liberating, thrilling, stimulating, being there for the world to see.

I totally agree with Walt. Confidence is sexy and frankly, you didn’t buy a white speedo with no intention of wearing it in public. You certainly knew it was transparent.

The only thing I worry about is what a child might think? So, I try to limit my exposure to more adult locations.
