Tired, hungover and sick

I’m really sorry for not posting over the last couple of days guys.

Lots of things have been happening here which have kept me from posting.  First of all the weather here has been nuts since Thursday afternoon.  Queenstown literally came to a stop with carnage on the road with people crashing in the slick conditions.  I was out hiking and had to call it quits early but then because the road was closed because of an accident I had to leave my car and walk the 2hrs home (luckily I had a jacket and gloves in the car).

So Friday was me going to get my car and I woke up feeling really sick – sore throat is the worst of it.

Saturday night was the Rugby (New Zealand v South Africa) and then the America’s Cup – so on top of feeling really terrible I stayed up until 3:30am – prolly not the best idea.

And last night I stayed up again to watching the America’s Cup and I figured that I’d try and kill my cold with alcohol so I had a few drinks.

Which brings me to today…. I’m tired, I’m a bit hungover and I’m sick (although it is on the run and I feel better than I did on the weekend).

Tomorrow is a new day and I think I’ll feel 100% – I’m going snowboarding with a mate of mine first thing and I’m looking forward to getting out in the fresh air.  This mate (Josh) is a buddy of mine from the Gold Coast and I’m pretty sure he is bi-curious so perhaps there might be something there – we’ll see.
