Yesterday I was talking to Kip online and I said the word “g-banger”. Kip didn’t know what I was talking about and I had to explain the slang use of it meaning g-string/thong.
It got us both thinking about having a g-string jacuzzi party at his place in Breckenridge.
I’m pretty sure I don’t have the courage to wear a g-string at the beach here in Australia.
Speaking of Kip though, I’m starting to plan a trip over to see him. Do some snowboarding, some speedo hottubbing and whatever other ‘things’ that Kip and I get up to. Apart from flights and a season pass it is a pretty cheap trip since Kip has stacks of room at his place (accommodation is phenominally expensive up there even with the stronger Aussie dollar).
I’ll keep you guys posted as there are some guys I’d love to catch up with if I get over there.

I must say, I am amazed at the pathological and paralyzing fear and revulsion that thongs carry for far too many guys (straight guys certainly, but many gay guys I’ve met as well)…and I just don’t understand it at all. I mean, really, what’s not to like? And practically everyone who professes a dislike for them has never tried wearing one…Bleh.
Publicly, of course, I’ve never done it; but privately, I do it on a regular basis. (This sometimes gets odd looks from the odd sexual partner that I might have, but not very often these days…)
Well, a thong hot tub party sounds awesome to me. (Though I’ve never heard the particular slang you used to start this post off before…!?!)

I wear g-strings all the time and they feel great, I seem to have a hard on all the time. As for wearing them in public, I do wear a white and unlined swim thong on the beach if it not too busy, it has tie sides so is easy to remove if it is really quiet so I can improve that all over tan.

Sounds like a all love wearing thongs but they are just too ‘socially unacceptable’ to wear in public.
I have a black aussiebum gstring but so far I haven’t even worn it with a sexual partner.
I know that if I removed a guys jeans and found him wearing a gstring I would know that I would be in for a big night.

Im a bit of a lurker, but I wanted to respond today. Anyway, you know how much you love speedos? Well thats how much I love thongs! I have been wearing them since I was thirteen, and most everyone who knows me knows that I wear them- mostly by accident, but they still know.
I always wanted to say to you though- because you are always so nervous about wearing a speedo in public, that its ok, no one really cares, and if they do, it really, no joke, is their problem. Speedos are always legal, and while you may get a bit more attention, its none of anyone’s business but your own, so fuck ’em.
Actually, a speedo is my cover-up. I havent worn a pair of shorts while swimming for over four years (besides the whitewater trip we took, but even those were more like bikini trunks). I get nervous about wearing a thong in public, like you, I get anxious about what people will think or say, and whether I will get in trouble. But you know what, all that stuff doesnt matter (except the legal thing, you actually can get in trouble wearing a thong in some places). I wear thong bikinis around my family and in-laws, and they dont say much of anything at all.
Anyway, all I was trying to say is that whenever you get nervous about who might see you in your speedos, just think that you could be wearing a thong, and that in comparison, your wearing quite a lot!
Its all about how you behave, not what your wearing! Please take the word of a man that will wear a speedo (even the teeny tiny ones) in front of anyone, and is comfortable enough to wear a thong in front of his father in-law: relax, its just a swimsuit.
Ok yeah, one more thing,
Plus you look sexy! And sexy people like us can get away with a lot!
