After a few weeks of gorgeous sunshine we’ve had a rainy week this week.
I make the most of rainy weather by getting lots of work done but I do feel lazy, fat and even a little unmotivated. With less exercise I find myself not sleeping as well, just slowly staying up later and later as the week has gone on.
Don’t worry, I’m not depressed or anything like that and the weather will change. And compared to winters else where in the world, this is a cake walk.
Feels nice to write about it and it has motivated me to get my arse to the pool (even if it looks cold and dreary out there).
Next week, the sun will shine and I’ll be back enjoying speedo six packs on the beach….
I think this photo is so cute, not sure why he is wearing sun glasses underwater but it looks like fun. Kip one of those GoPro cameras so we might have a play with it tonight in Kip’s hottub. Not sure if it will come out but we’ll give it a try.
The weather has changed here a little bit and there is snow on the forecast, so much so a “Winter Storm Warning” has been issued starting tonight at 6pm. We were originally thinking of hitting the town and picking up some guys on Spring Break but with that kind of snow forecast we might end up in bed nice and early.
OK, I’ve gotta fly.
Let me know if you have any hot underwater speedo pics – I’ll post this photo over on the SpeedoForum.org.
The last couple of weeks have been bitterly cold (like -30) but this week it has all changed.
So after being cooped up in the house (it was even uncomfortable snowboarding) Kip and I have spent the last 2 days enjoying the outdoors and the warm weather.
Both days we went snowboarding in the morning. On Tuesday we went for a hike up towards Mohawk Lake and then today we ducked over to the old mining town of Leadville for lunch and to check out a frozen waterfall.
Not sure if it is a little wind burn but we both have some colour in our cheeks and we are exhausted. I think it is time for a hottub and then off to bed early.
I wonder why it is that after a good day outside you feel content yet exhausted – definitely a feeling I get when hanging out on the beach. Won’t be long now!!!
Don’t worry guys, this weekend I’ll be spending some time in the office to make up for the last 2 days of fun.
And here are some guys enjoying their fun in the sun.
