Today I’ve get to chill out in Sydney before a mid afternoon flight into Christchurch.
A friend of mine in up in Christchurch and will give me a ride down to Queenstown on Saturday morning (5hr maybe 6hr drive). Should be fun having a night out in Christchurch…. a city where I know nobody. I’ll go out and see if I can get into some trouble for sure.
Saturday night some friends in Queenstown (old landlords of mine) are having a BBQ for a New Zealand vs South Africa rugby game so it should be fun to catch up with some friends I haven’t seen in 12 months.
As soon as I get a postal address over there though I need to buy some new speedos – the sand has gotten into my favourite black ‘Spank’ speedos and my Aussiebum’s are a little too small for me. I’ll be buying some that I can do some lap swimming in so nothing too floral and I’m not sure I’m game enuf to wear anything as small as these guys…..
Over the weekend I finally came to the decision to move to New Zealand for the rest of the winter – I’m pretty sure I’ll be back on the Central Coast north of Sydney come summer.
The cold, rainy weather kinda sucks and it will be good to keep in touch with all my kiwi mates. My housemates and I had to move out by next weekend as the house has been sold and one of my housemates is a bit of a pain in the arse.
As to where I’ll live in New Zealand I haven’t completely come to a decision and I’ve been talking to some friends over there trying to decide – I’ll be flying over there Friday week so I better decide. I am excited to get on my snowboard again. Another move but I suppose if you don’t make a decision, someone else will make one for you.
New Zealand is amazingly beautiful and I love hiking as well as snowboarding so you guys can expect some more scenic photos like these below which I took back last winter/spring. If anyone can name where all four pics are taken I’ll give them a years membership to SwimmerBoyz.com.
I never got a chance to tell you guys what Adam lined up for my for my 2nd night in Queenstown a couple of weeks ago…… (click here to read about Adam – old fuck buddy of mine I met in New Zealand a few years ago).
I’m sitting in bed writing this now and I am absolutely shagged – been super busy with work since I got back from last weekend in Sydney and trying as hard as I can to sleep as little as possible and work as much as possible. Perhaps not the time for me to be explaining in graphic detail what Adam, and his two English lads and I got up to (I did make some notes on the flight home though just incase I forgot any of the details).
We’ll tomorrow, or probably the day after I’m going to pack my laptop, find a nice deserted beach, sit down in my speedos and share it with you guys…..
Back to the coal face for me.
