I think I have my travels plans starting to take shape. I’m definitely missing the beach and a busy as all hell weekend here in Colorado with not a whole lot of snowboarding going on and hearing about my mates back in Aussie enjoying the beach has me primed.
I’ll head back to the Central NSW Coast of course but I don’t really want to be there during the summer holidays and I’m sure that would make it tough to find a place to rent that is semi affordable as well. So my plan is to leave here the first week of February. I’ll probably spend a week in San Francisco catching up with some mates there and then get back in time for some speedo weather.
Kip is keen to come ‘down under’ for the first time and will head down a little later in the year for a few months.
I’m excited, I’ve been looking at realestate.com.au for a few hours this morning. Over the last few years I’ve stayed at Terrigal and Avoca but I might even extend my search a little further north since some of those beaches up towards Birdie are gorgeous and a little quieter. Once I finish this post I’ll start looking at flights.
Below is a view of Sydney I’ve never had but the last time I was in Sydney I had half a day to kill before my flight and just spent it walking around playing tourist.
I’m starting to think about heading back to Aussie, maybe March/April? That way I’ll get a little bit of warm weather and over the weekend I was talking to some old friends in Sydney and on the Central Coast.
One guy that I’ll try to get a hold of is a guy called Butch. His real name is different. Funny thing about Butch is that we met years ago through a group of friends. I wasn’t out to them in any way and after knowing Butch socially for over a year I finally discovered he was gay.
He is a str8 acting good looking tall masculine guy and he was one of the first friends I told about this blog.
Funny thing is, it was Butch who introduced me to Grindr and was a huge fan of it.
Butch, if you are reading this touch base mate.
I am up in the air on what I’m going to do and where I’m going to live. I always seem to be up in the air but I’m not complaining at all about the places I do end up living.
The air is getting a little cooler here (still no need for jeans just yet) and it feels like things have definitely turned their head towards the coming winter.
I’ll stay here in Colorado for the beginning of winter for sure. At least until after Xmas. Then I think I might need to get my beach back on. Heading back to the Central NSW Coast in early February would be perfect, school holidays is over, there is still a stack of summer to enjoy, getting a rental property shouldn’t be too hard in Feb.
Another option, would be to find somewhere else in the world on a speedo friendly beach, good internet access and cheaper living cost. Any ideas guys?
