Kip has been here for just a week now and holy cow has he been immersed in Aussie culture!!!
It is super late here and I’m writing this post as Kip is passed out after another huge day.
We were up early this morning for a surf with the boys, Kip is not a surfer and I think his poor arms were about to fall off by the time we were finished – he loved it though and he is getting to know all my mates here.
Then we had lunch at the local RSL club (returned services league – hard one to explain to non-Aussie’s). Then we played 9 holes – Kip is a much better golfer than I will ever be. From the golf club everyone came back to my place to keep drinking and we watched the Bledisloe Cup – a rugby game between Australia (Wallabies) and New Zealand (All Blacks) which turned out to be a draw.
After the rugby everyone was feeling warm and fuzzy (might have been the Bundy Rum – a local dark rum called Bundaburg – that we had been drinking since golf). So we all walked the 200 yards down the street to the local pub.
Everyone thinks Kips accent is thick although he is a Colorado native and I don’t think he has much of an accent at all. But he had fun and got talking to random people which he thought was hillarious considering when I’m in Colorado I’m the point of difference with my accent.
On leaving the pub we grabbed some kebabs, an ancient Aussie tradition and walked back along the beach to my place.
I think Sunday is going to be a lazy day.
It is so much fun looking after Kip, he has been a wonderful host to me when I’ve been in Colorado and it is wonderful to return the favour.
What do you guys have planned for the weekend?
I don’t have a whole lot on the cards but just got back from an early morning surf with the boys. Tide was high and waves were small but what a beautiful morning!!!
It has been cold overnight and in the mornings here over the last week but the days have been perfect and the water isn’t that cold.
Kip is planning on coming out here soon, dates are pretty flexible and we’ll get a trip down to the Snowy mountains in while he is here. By then Alex’s anal training should be coming along just fine and he’ll be ready for what Kip and I will do to him – hehehe.
OK, I need a shower but I’m going for a quick dip first. I’ve got a pair of AussieBum Portsea’s on so they will do for my beach attire today.
Speaking of which, I’ve owned all of these AussieBums pictured below.
A little hung over today after going to the pub last night, but not too bad.
Went for a surf this morning which cleared my head. It is crazy how quiet the beach is this time of year. In summer there is so many people about with life guards, the surf club folks training and having comps. The surf club people are referred to as clubbies and it is funny how they don’t like the surfers and the surfers don’t like them. All my local buddies are surfers and weren’t clubbies but I was a clubby growing up.
I found these pics below somewhere and thought I’d post them up for you guys. The surf club involved is out in WA (Western Austalia) and looks like the usual shenanigans at a surf club.
I think I’m off for a nap and then I’m heading over to some mates for a BBQ.
By the way, if you guys liked the cumming pics from yesterdays post, I posted some pics of girls, wearing one piece swimsuits and being cummed on over on my bisexual blog – www.BisexualDave.com
