Yesterday turned out to be a sensational day, when I left the condo it was cold and I was regretting my decision to speedo it up but once I got in the water it wasn’t too bad. The Charlton pool really is pretty amazing!!!
Unlike when I was in Colorado just a few weeks ago, most of the guys were wearing speedos which was great and nobody blinked and eye when I stripped down to my ADIDAS speedos.
After swimming 2kms I jumped in an Uber and headed to Bronte Beach. I’ve heard a lot about it but never been there before and it was gorgeous. I didn’t realise there is a pool at the south end of the beach in the rock but the ocean was a little bit cooler than the pool though.
I spent a couple of hours doing some paperwork and reading a book just hanging out in my speedos.
Great Sydney speedo day!!!
Today I’ve got a bunch of work to do, I think around lunch time I will walk over to the pool for another swim and then tomorrow I’m heading back north.
The snowboarding this week has been absolutely awesome. I am just glowing!!! It might be from the Speedo Only Party last Sunday as well – I will sit down and spend some time writing about it for you guys hopefully tomorrow.
We are expecting a little bit more snow over the weekend then the forecast says that it will be dry early next week.
So Kip has decided that we are going to do a little tour of a bunch of hot springs.
First up in Glenwood Hot Springs (we will be there on Sunday and spending Sunday night at the Hotel Colorado – I think 3 Presidents have stayed there), then we are going to Radium Natural Hot Springs which are these natural hot springs on the Colorado River on Monday during the day, then on Monday night we are going to Hot Sulfur Springs which are Kip’s favourite hot springs. We are going to spend Monday night at the ski resort of Winter Park, we are skiing there on Tuesday and then driving back to Breck.
Of course, we will both be wearing speedos – and probably the only people wearing speedos because this is America.
Here is the map of where we are planning…..
The Glenwood Hot Springs looks amazing…… I will take my swimming goggles in case I get a chance to do some laps.
I’ve been to the Radium Natual Hot Springs before – this was a couple of years ago when I was visiting Kip one summer. We will be there in the morning so if you stumble across Kip and I we might be doing naughty things to each other.
Darn my speedo tan was horrible then – of course members get to see the unblurred photo.
Here is a photo of the main pool at Hot Sulfur Springs – it looks gorgeous and this time of year it will be surrounded by snow.
Kip does seem a little bit hesitant to speedo it up, particularly at the Glenwood Hot Springs since he thinks there will be lots of people there.
I think Kip and I need to put some stakes on this, if either of us do not speedo it up what should the penalty be?
As expected, the other day when I went for a swim, I was the only person I saw wearing speedos.
There weren’t many people lap swimming but I’m pretty sure my AussieBum Portsea’s got a few looks. I enjoyed half an hour or so in the sauna as well.
This weekend Kip and I are going to be putting in a bunch of work. There is no snow on the forecast until next week and it is a bit of a zoo up here on the weekends.
This afternoon I’m going to be writing about our threesome last weekend…. I’m not sure how this is going to work. Kip and I are both sitting at his dinner table (5 monitors between us), we are both wearing speedos (Kip a classic black speedo and me my AussieBum Portsea’s again), Kip is wearing socks, I’m wearing my Ugg boots.
When I start writing about our threesome I’m going to get hard just thinking about it, let alone writing about it sitting across from one of the guys who participated in the threesome.
I hope you guys appreciate the hardships I have with this job – hehehe.
Check back tomorrow and find out what I managed to get written.
