We had a long weekend here and I didn’t get up to much at all. Watched a bit of sport, had a couple of surfs with the boys and did a bit of work.
Now today is Tuesday, my room is a mess, dirty clothes basket is overflowing and I have a list an A4 rules sheet of paper long of the things I want to get done (work wise) this month.
It started well, I was up early (early for me), I’ve done three loads of washing, ticket off 3 things on my ‘to do list’ and I’m half way through cleaning the kitchen.
I’m in the middle of some new movie uploads but once they are done I’m off to the pool for some laps and then I might try and go for a run on the beach – it is a high tide this afternoon but I’ll see how I go.
One of things I did this morning was setup some new ‘Speedo Photos of the Day’ on my site SwimmerBoyz.com – this guy is amazing and just looking at him in his black speedo is inspiring me to get off my butt and do some exercise. I saw an article about personal trainer Paul James going on a junk food binge back in December and I have been meaning to post on here about it.
Paul wanted to see how his clients felt when trying to loose weight so he went from 80kgs to 120kgs.
These photos really hit home to me that people who are overweight and use the excuse of ‘big bones’ or ‘hereditary’ is just bullshit. I have a close friend who is way way overweight and the excuse that his family was fat prevents him from even trying. My friend looks just as big as Paul did at his max weight….
My guests are still in town here and as such I just haven’t had any routine. Today however I sent them off snowboarding with a friend of mine and I’ve been catching up on a bunch of work and I even went for a swim.
I haven’t been for a swim in well over a week and it was great to be back in speedos. I’ve been to the pool and had a hottub with my guests but not a proper lap swim where I get to wear speedos. The feeling of freedom of diving in the pool wearing nothing but a pair of lycra speedos is so wonderful.
Even after not swimming for a week I felt like I have lost a bit of fitness (not that I feel as though I have much fitness these days). Well, this weekend is going to be a big one with the rugby on Saturday night and I’m going to take the crew out on the town for a big one. They are outta here on Sunday and I think I’m even going to write down a routine for myself.
Then I’m going to feel as good as these guys look…….
