My first couple of days back in Australia were grey and crappy but the last 3 days have been spectacular!!!
Today is just the same.
I got my arse out of bed early and walk down to town along the beach, grabbed a coffee and a bacon roll for breakfast. Walked on back here, went for a swim (in my black ADIDAS speedos of course) and the water was cool but bearable in the early morning sun and no wind.
Since then, I’ve been sitting on the back deck just working and wearing nothing but my speedos of course. This is what life is all about guys!!!
Yesterday I got out for a walk and headed north towards Crackneck Point – I had a quick look on google earth and it is another track that I’ve never been on before. Was a beautiful walk on these high cliffs above the ocean – I didn’t end up going for a swim on the way because the beaches were too rocky but I can definitely recommend it to anyone who is in the area.
Nothing naughty to report unfortunately guys – tonight I’m sure there will be some partying at the Pub so keep your fingers crossed for me.
OK guys here are my travel plans to Aussieland for the next couple of weeks.
I fly out of here on Wednesday (holy shit that is only 1 sleep away). I land in the early afternoon and a mate of mine who works in the city is going to pick me up and drive up to the Central NSW Coast on Friday arvo (not sure what happened to Thursday but it no longer exists).
My mates up on the coast are putting on a poker night on Friday which should help with any jetlag and then a mate of mine is having his 30th birthday on the Saturday night and someone want to play golf on Sunday. I do love going ‘home’ although I grew up on the Gold Coast it definitely feels like home on the Central Coast.
Hopefully the weather will be good and I’ll just chill out on the beach the next week. The weekend after (28th) a friend of mine is having a birthday in Manly so I might head down for that – I’ve never been out in Manly. And then I’m flying back out of Sydney on the next Tuesday, the last day of the month.
Just a quick trip and I won’t get any snowboarding in unfortuantely but I couldn’t figure out transprot (I don’t have a car) and then I’d have to take all my snowboarding gear.
I just checked out the webcam and it looks gorgeous there today and the winter temps there are pretty similar to the summer temps here in San Francisco. Click here to check out the webcam.
Going to be burning the midnight oil tonight getting things ready and I don’t fly out until late tomorrow night so I’ll get a blog post in before I leave here.
It was a pair of these AussieBum Portsea’s that caused me to start this block back in April/May 2005. An amazing steamroom threesome with my roommates and I was wearing a pair of Portsea’s.
I just love these speedos – they are loose in the front and they aren’t that ‘flamboyant’ that I can’t wear them at the pool. Actually I’m going to wear mine at the pool this afternoon.
These speedos are in the ‘Loose’ range from AussieBum. You can also get them in the ‘Booster Jock’ Loose range. I’ve had these and I personally find they get a little uncomfortable if you wear speedos all the time like I do. But they look great.
I’ve been thinking that AussieBum is getting more and more expensive these days and at AU$36 they are still OK but getting up there. For those of you in the US they are up near $40.
Having owned 3 or 4 pairs of these I can testify that they last for ever – I’ve even had them fade before the material breaks down. Being nylon they don’t stretch too much either so no need to buy them smaller than your normal size.
You can’t order these with the logo on the front but one of my members works at AussieBum and send me some through. Here are the Portsea’s that I own…..
