I am about half way home and staying in this little coastal town that I visited a few times growing up. Nice spot, far enough north of Sydney to still feel like a little town. Today I went for a morning run, swim in the ocean to cool off. Breakfast and some work and went to the local pool. Beautiful outdoor 50m pool.
Lots of guys in speedos, I don’t think I saw anyone not wearing speedos.
What do you think I wore? No prizes for getting that question right.
I’ve mentioned it before, but I really love a man who is confident wearing a speedo. About half way through my swim a guy start in the lane next to me. Wearing a funky white and grey speedo. I couldn’t get a good enough look at it to see what brand it was. As I finished my swim (only 1,500m with 200m of kicking and breaststroke drills) the guy in the white speedos had disappeared.
I jumped out of the pool and as I was drying off I noticed him standing a few steps away from the pool on the phone. Looked like a work call. Nice mid 30’s, Dad bod kinda guy just on the phone in a pair of white speedos. I love it!!!
If there is any chance he is reading this – please email me….
Tomorrow I drive 5hrs north to the Gold Coast. Supposed to be a rainy day so I might hit the road early, there is a small coastal town about half way that has an Olympic size pool so I might make that a stop.
Anyone at Surfers Paradise want to hang out in the hotel sauna let me know…..
Maybe on Sunday I’ll get to the pool pictured below…. anyone know it?
I couldn’t get a hotel for Friday night so going to catch up with some friends in Brisbane, then Sunday I’ll drive home. I’ll be looking forward to my own bed by then!!!
Happy First Red Thong Thursday of the year guys. I think this year I am going to make more of an effort to wear thongs, particularly on Thursday’s.
This will mean that I have to do some Thong Shopping….
PS – This is Aussie guy Shannon… click here if you’d like to see more pics of him (mostly in speedos).
This morning I was a little late on my swim, coffee and walk along the beach. It was getting close to 10am by the time I banged out 1,500m at the pool and started the short walk back to my place.
Walking along the beach the tide was pretty high so there wasn’t as much sand and I walked past three guys who were face down working on their speedo tans. Two were older guys, one guy was maybe thirties and I couldn’t really tell much since he was face down and didn’t turn around when I walked past.
I was wearing a towel over my speedos, otherwise shirtless, so nothing really for him to turn around for.
Good to see Aussie blokes out in their speedos. If only there were more guys who looked like this…. I would definitely give him a wave, or a nod or some kind of message telling him to follow me back to my house.
