Sunday Pool Party

I am still down the Gold Coast and after all the cyclone business last week, the weather is back to its usual beautiful self.

Sunday morning I woke up with zero plans for the day, I had a lazy sleep in, went for a swim in the ocean and grabbed a coffee.  Back at my friends apartment I turned on my laptop and checked my morning emails (even though it is a Sunday, I’m still working).  One of the emails is from a long time member.  He had noticed that I was on the coast and is hosting a Sunday afternoon pool party/bbq not far from where I am.  And he invited me.

The Australian Formula One car race starts at 2pm and there is a bunch of footy on.  My host has a pool, TV setup outside and the invitation has a ‘speedo only’ clause which he didn’t think I”d have a problem with.

Bunch of gay guys in speedos, drinking beer, watching sport in the pool…. my kind of Sunday!!!

I’m just about to walk out the door.
