Good morning everyone….. yes, my speedo kayaking has been going well. My arms are super sore, must be different muscles compared to swimming. Went for an hour kayak yesterday afternoon and about the same this morning. There is some rain on the forecast otherwise I would have setup my ‘office’ by the lake and worked on my speedo tan.
Nothing naughty to report, but I do have three recent experiences that I need to finish writing about for you guys. It has just started raining so I think I’ll spend the afternoon getting on that for you guys.

For the last few months my life really has been very random. My road trip south, my recent road trip north and today I am blogging from an hour west of where I usually live.
Some friends of friends own this beautiful 170 acre property with a huge lake on it. It has been a few different things over the last three decades and today the wife runs it as a casual campground/farm stay kind of place. I had been to the property once before today.
Turns out that the owners Mum passed away and they needed someone to look after the place for a week and somehow they thought of me. I’m guessing they asked everyone else they know and I was the last option on the list. When they called me they had intentions of cancelling all the bookings but I said, that would be a shame for everyone who booked, I’m sure I can handle it. So, after an early start I am sitting at the check in desk (they have Starlink). It is a fantastic place, the lake is amazing and so far all the campers have been really nice.
One of the coolest things is that come Monday, all the campers leave and I have the entire property, and the lake all to myself for a few days.
Anyone up for a speedo party?
I think I’m going to do a big of speedo kayaking once the campers leave…..
