The last 2 days I’ve been hearing from a bunch of old friends who live in Brisbane about how bad the flooding has been.
So far we haven’t had too much rain down here on the Central Coast and tonight I actually have a friend from Brisbane staying with me because he was driving back and can’t get there (I’m probably 10hrs drive south of Brisbane – maybe a little more).
Everyone I know up there is safe and sound and no real property damage although there are a lot of people who aren’t in the same ‘boat’.
Well I’m off for a quick walk along the beach to town (it is windy here but blue sky), I have a bunch of work to finish off and then I’ll start to get the house ready for my guests (not sure how long they will be here for).
Since this hasn’t been a terribly happy post – here is something that might bring a smile…..
definitely put a smile on my face…. live in nth qld, just a bit north of brisbane, just can’t even imagine what it must be like, despite being thorugh floods myself. thinking of the guys in south east qld!
