    Tony,

    Thanks for the compliment mate.

I’m cooking up a rack of lamb for dinner and I’ll take some pics and post them – no guys for 2 posts in a row. Scary.

When are you leaving the blue planet? You aren’t a Scientolist?

Aussie and New Zealand aren’t going anywhere – very pretty indeed though.

    Hi Dave,
Is that the Shotover River/Canyon, winding its way past Arthur’s Point??
And some very nice photos by the way. I for one appreciate the pics of natural landscapes you put up on your blog, scattered as they are amid the other fine, oh so natural male landscapes you have!

    Horrace,

You know your Queenstown valleys well – but unfortunately that isn’t it. More towards Glenorchy – it is one of the ‘Great Walks’.

That is the 2nd comment that you guys appreciate the scenery photos – I’m not 100% sure if that is what readers want so I do limit them but I take a bunch of photos and I’d love to post more if that is what you guys enjoy.

    Hi Dave,

I’ll take a copy of that pic. My screen is 1280×800. BTW…I tried registering on WhiteSpeedos, but never got a confirmation code msg.

    Thanks!

    Hi again Dave,

I really can’t be sure which valley that is. As it wasn’t the Shotover River, perhaps its the river that leads into Lake Lund?? or Moke Lake??? You said you went for your walk in the morning, and the sun is ahead of you, so you’re probably looking north-east at that point. That orientation is consistent with both, and while I’m tempted by Lake Lund, it’s more remote and seems to be more than a ‘hike to the end of the lake’ than Moke! So, I’ll put my money on Moke.

And by the way, I’ve never been to Queenstown, though would love to go. I’m just using Google Earth!!

And I enjoy your photos because landscape photography is one of my hobbies, so I’m biased (and bi … and not getting enough ass. Gee I’m witty.) Not sure how good I am at photography, but I find it a satisfying and relaxing way to spend an afternoon.
