I am always the last person on the planet who realises that it is a public holiday. Today was either Labour Day or Queens Birthday. I found that out on Friday.
Anyway, it was a great day and for the first real time this spring/summer the beach was humming. It was a little windy but otherwise a nice day and it was great to see the beach busy. I love it when it is quiet but it is fun when it is busy as well.
I went for a surf with some mates around mid morning and I did run into the girl who ended up spending the night at my place on Friday night. Thankfully her boyfriend wasn’t with her – as if it could get any more awkward……
