Thank you to everyone for the words of advice regarding registering a car in the US. I’ve shot a few emails off to some car dealers and both responses (one from California and one from Denver) said that it shouldn’t be a problem.
I’m not 100% about either response – both kinda sounded a bit like ‘She’ll be right mate’ and if I get it wrong I will really be in a bind.
Once I finish this post I’ll send off a couple more emails and I might even try the different DMV’s although the repution of the DMV doesn’t give me much hope of a response there. Perhaps I should talk to the insurance people – they will probably know.
If anyone else has ANY ideas or experience please let me know – it will be greatly appreciated.
Enuf of ‘work’ boring organising stuff….. I’m going for a swim this arvo and a wank in the showers for sure and this is what I’ll be thinking about…..

God Dave, did that picture give me a “woody”. I got a flash of Keanu Reeves going down on me just like that! Talk about your having to wank!!! I was sore! Thanks so much & I hope your return to the US will be easy and not a hassle! p.s. Can’t wait to go see “AUSTRALIA” the movie when it opens. Has two of my favorite aussies-Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman-Urban. Looks like we just might learn a bit more about “down under” and how it came to be. Thanks & Love, Dave! Dave, try to contact the American Automobile Association (AAA). They provide insurance & other auto services in all 50 states and may be able to answer your questions. Their website is: http://www.aaa.com/scripts/WebObjects.dll/ZipCode.woa/wa/route?stop=yes&
