There’s an Aussie joke I quite like (mainly because it is true):

“What’s the difference between a straight guy and a gay guy?”
    “Six beers”

    LOL!

I friend of mine didn’t handle my coming out well … at all. He was of the same basic mentality – it was cool and hot for two girls to make out in a bar, but the thought of two guys doing the same thing made him, “want to toss my lunch over everything.” He went on to say that just the thought of “looking at another guy’s hairy, sweaty ass” made him nauseuous, and if a guy over came on to him, he’d “stomp his faggot ass all over the place.”

So, a couple of years go by … he becomes more comfortable around homos, apologizes for past behavior and one night makes the comment, “Yeah, I’m surprised you never hit on me.”

“Jeff, hard as this may be for you to believe, you’re not my type. Not every gay guy is attracted to every straight guy.”

He actually looked hurt. “Why not? I’m as good looking as those other guys.”

Only goes to show you the paradox of life – if I’d hit on him, he’d hit me. And because I didn’t, he’s upset and doesn’t think he’s pretty. So like a female.

Straight men are out of their minds.

    Ryan,

I love your story of your mate – soooo very true.

Hungspeedoguy – I’ve got another joke for you….

You aren’t a man until you’ve had one.

Fantastic story, Ryan, and one many of us have been through.

I was going to echo your statement, Hungspeedoguy–at most, a six pack away…for most guys, a wet warm hole is a wet warm hole, whether it’s a mouth, an ass, or a vagina, and who it’s on matters less and less the drunker they are.

Unfortunately, even among many gay men, the idea you cited on this “straight conversation” is rather prevalent, or was prevalent, particularly in the 1800s and early 1900s.

However, we now know what a woman in a man’s body really is: a transgendered woman. And, they are often trans-lesbians as well, which would confuse this straight person in the conversation you mentioned even more…!?!
