They are indeed truly fine pics for those who value fine architecture for ordinary people in a marvellous setting. But like terrylee, I attach a lot of value to the blog’s main theme – and never more so than when you seek diversion with girls, before returning to GUYS. So what happened on your night out with the ladies? Even if it ended up with you and Kip going at it even more hammer and tongs than before, I’m sure I can’t be the only one who’s intrigued to know…

    Zebra,

I’ll get to the night out with Kip and the girls in the next couple of days – been flat out with guests here.

Leadville is a kewl little town – not sure I could live there but would be a great place to grow up.

Spent some time in Leadville a few years back, during the fall – beautiful, desolate and hot all at one time. There was an old hotel and bar where the Today show had been filmed. Stayed in a old “cottage” type motel, that was the pits, but the only place available at the time — loved it. It was cold and no speedos outside – but slept in them with a sweat shirt. Don’t recognize the bar u are talking about, but I am sure the town is becoming more of a tourist place – hope it doesn’t get spoiled. Hit a deer as we were leaving with the jeep, but minimal damage. Thanks for the memories
