These are stories of my travels – or stories of while I am travelling.
Last night there was an All Blacks vs Springboks game (New Zealand vs South Africa for those of you who aren’t familiar with your rugby) and I caught up with some mates on the town. I think I got to bed about 3am and today I had absolutely nothing to do so I had a wonderful sleep in.
Today is just a beautiful day, warm (for here – I suppose it is 15C), sun is out and no wind.
So I’m sitting here writing this post in a pair of black speedos…. nothing else.
It really should be a beach day – ow well a bit over 2 weeks now and I will be at the beach on a day like today.
I’ve sorted out my accommodation and I’m staying with a friend of mine who just moved into a new house. I had wanted to get my own pad but this has just popped up. Will mean I won’t have quite as much privacy for any guys that I bring home but it should be much more social. I am really really looking forward to it – actually I wish I was there now.
Well in the spirit of a lazy speedo Sunday here are a handful of guys lazing about in their speedos too.
I’ve finally made up my mind on my travel plans now that winter in New Zealand is ending.
These might change but tomorrow I’m buying the plane tickets so it won’t be able to change in the short term anyways. I’m off to Sydney in early/mid October.
I love it here in New Zealand but there are too many kiwis and I’m looking forward to being back on the beach for Aussie summer.
I’ve been looking around for places to rent/lease not so much in Sydney but more on the coast – being a ‘mountain town’ kind of guy for the last few years moving back into a big city doesn’t really float my boat and somewhere a little quieter on the coast but still just an hour from the big smoke would suit me fine.
Even though I didn’t grow up in Sydney I have some great friends in the city and a group of really good friends who live on the coast and I’ve got a stack of leads to follow up on. But if any of you guys have any ideas please feel free to send them through.
I’ve mentioned on here that I’ve got some friends over staying with me. These are my friends who live on the NSW Central Coast and who I stay with when I’m over that way.
Just hanging out with these guys has made me really want to be over there on the beach. I think I’ve had enuf of winter.
Tonight I even started looking at rental properties and it seems as though I will be able to afford to live in a one or two bedroom place within walking distance from the beach – if anyone knows about that kind of stuff please drop me an email.
