These are stories of my travels – or stories of while I am travelling.
Well guys, the lifts here at the resort closed on Sunday (tomorrow) and today I’m just lazing around in my speedos (white arenas right now).
Will is out of here Monday morning early and then I’m going to head down to Colorado and spend a couple of weeks with Kip (he tells me the ski resorts are still open.
It has been a great season with Will and I’m thinking that perhaps next northern winter I might spend a summer in Australia (I am missing the speedo weather that is for sure). I love the beaches north of Sydney and Will is looking at some jobs up in Sydney (he is originally from Melbourne).
I’m not 100% sure just yet so I’ll keep you guys posted as to my movements.
After my posts yesterday I thought I should share this article which I read on Brenton’s blog ‘Aussielicious‘.
Dutch council officials will permit gay sex in public areas but fine dog owners who let their pets off the leash in Amsterdam’s Vondelpark.
Paul van Grieken, an Alderman in the Oud-Zuid district of the city, has startled many Amsterdammers, despite their famously liberal attitudes, with plans to allow public sex as part of this summer’s new rules of conduct for the country’s best-known park.
“Why should we try to impose something that is actually impossible to impose, which also causes little bother for others and for a certain group actually means much pleasure?”, he said.
Amsterdam’s beautiful Vondelpark in the centre of city draws hordes of summer visitors, families, skaters and joggers.
But the park’s rose garden has become famous as a trysting spot for gay men looking for uncomplicated sexual encounters.
Mr van Grieken stresses that tolerance to “cruising” gays, aimed at protecting homosexuals from violence, will have “strict rules attached”.
“Thus, condoms must always be cleared away, it must never take place in the neighbourhood of children’s playgrounds and the sex must be restricted to the evening and night-time,” he said.
The new park rules have the blessing of the Dutch police, who have urged all Dutch parks to follow Amsterdam’s lead.
For those long time readers here you might remember that I was on the New South Wales Central coast last November. It had been a while since I wore speedos at the beach and I was pleasantly surprise to see how many guys were wearing speedos.
Most of the speedo wearers were from the Terrigal Surf Club and I got to watch some of the senior surf boat crews training.
This year I’m hoping to head over to the same region for a couple of weeks (actually a bit south of Terrigal but in the same neighbourhood as such). Although this time I might stay instead of coming over to Canada…. I’m not sure but just an option.
As some of you might be able to remember as well – I caught up with ‘Sam’, a reader of this blog and we had some speedo fun. Click here to read that post from back in November.
Here are some pics of some of the Terrigal Clubbies in their blue speedos. They were posted by Wes from ‘Wet Speedos on the Brain‘.
