I’ve always loved the asian style speedos – super small, low on the hips. Kinda like a divers speedo.
Today I saw that Aqux have a new line out and I really, really like this black and blue speedo. Anyone I’ve spoken to about Aqux swimwear tells me that they are tiny!!! The largest size they give is 31″-34″ – I wear a 34″ as a comfortable lap swimming speedo but there would be ‘muffins’ hanging over the waist line if I wore a pair that were just 31″.
Since I have never owned a pair though I am tempted – they are expensive though. $90 from the Aqux.net site and $120 from SportsMenAsia.com – with postage to Australia that us US$140. That would be my most expensive speedo ever that is for sure.
I’m not quite convinced enough to pull out the credit card yet but I’ll keep you guys posted.
I might have had a change of heart about the little blonde chick I was setup on a blind date with last Saturday – I wrote about it over on my bisexual blog – www.BisexualDave.com if anyone is interested.
Back in summer someone told me about a Swimming Watch that counts laps – I’m pretty sure it was over on the SwimmerSexuality.com forum.
One of the things that does annoy me is counting laps when I’m swimming – I keep loosing count. I’ve been enjoying my running recently because I don’t have to think about it and can let my mind wander on different things. So often when I’m lap swimming I’m too busy trying to concentrate on how far I’ve swam.
Anyways – after some discussion on the SwimmerSexuality.com forum, I did some more of my own research and I bought the ‘Swimmate’. I’ve been using for the last couple of months and been meaning to tell you guys about it – it is awesome!!!! I don’t know how it works but you punch in how long the pool is, hit start and then when you are done, it tells you how many laps and how far you’ve gone.
I’m sure there is other stuff on it but that is all I wanted it for.
I don’t make any money from this plug and I bought the watch myself (it was like US$80 I think) but I thought I’d share this with you guys. Just Google ‘swimmate’ – it looks like this.
It was a pair of these AussieBum Portsea’s that caused me to start this block back in April/May 2005. An amazing steamroom threesome with my roommates and I was wearing a pair of Portsea’s.
I just love these speedos – they are loose in the front and they aren’t that ‘flamboyant’ that I can’t wear them at the pool. Actually I’m going to wear mine at the pool this afternoon.
These speedos are in the ‘Loose’ range from AussieBum. You can also get them in the ‘Booster Jock’ Loose range. I’ve had these and I personally find they get a little uncomfortable if you wear speedos all the time like I do. But they look great.
I’ve been thinking that AussieBum is getting more and more expensive these days and at AU$36 they are still OK but getting up there. For those of you in the US they are up near $40.
Having owned 3 or 4 pairs of these I can testify that they last for ever – I’ve even had them fade before the material breaks down. Being nylon they don’t stretch too much either so no need to buy them smaller than your normal size.
You can’t order these with the logo on the front but one of my members works at AussieBum and send me some through. Here are the Portsea’s that I own…..
