Ideas about this blog.
I’m up early this morning – going to go to the pool for a swim (I wonder if the manager has missed me the last week).
Just checking my emails and I found out that this blog is a finalist in 2 different weblog awards.
The first one is GayBloggies and the 2nd one is Verve.
I’m in the GLBT Australian or New Zealand blog category!!!
Last year just before Xmas I was a finalist on the Best Gay Blogs 2005 Awards in the newbie category which was great. The expose is great and gets more people visiting this blog.
When I learnt my first programming language way back I remember the first program I made was something that displayed the words “Hello World”. Right now I’m doing some tests here with RSS – its a way of displaying my blog posts in different formats.
One format is to have all new posts emails to readers who want that – another format is a scrolling text box with the latest posts. I’m just testing a couple of these things which all go towards making ‘my site‘ even better.
But enuf boring stuff – here is a pic to make this post more interesting. I’m not a fan of cock down… well until I saw this pic. I’m converted I think. I am running a survey on ‘Cock down vs Cock Up” – click here to have your say.
A couple of weeks ago (before my last stint in hospital) I was approached by a guy in Melbourne who manufactures lycra wear. He makes bike pants and gym gear and has just started making speedos – a swim brief to be technical.
So J (the guy from Melbourne) says that he would love to create the perfect speedo for me if I’d like to help with the input for it.
I'”D LOVE TO was my response.
So the perfect speedos is white, no lining, reasonably priced (Aussie $30 – US$23), drawstring which you could remove if you wanted (can’t put it back in though) and be lycra. You guys know how much I love AussieBum’s nylon but lycra feels ow so nice!!!
If you have any other ideas please post them on the WhiteSpeedos.com forum where I’ve created a topic – click here.
I’m really excited about this guys and I should have the first samples ready in October. But I want your feedback where ever possible – and I’ve never had anything to do with this line of business so I’m going to need help.
