Just a short political post – feel free to ignore it and I promise to post early tomorrow – but I enjoy my politics and on the occasion that I post about politics there is generally a good discussion from readers.
I was just watching MSNBC and this guy O’Donnell I think was having this huge rant (like a Rush Limbaugh rant where he tries to say the same thing 20 different ways – which I hate). This guy was ranting saying Donald Trump is a racist for questioning President Obama’s academic performance.
President Obama and President Bush both went to Harvard for their masters – every man and his dog questioned President Bush’s intelligence calling him stupid. Yet he was accepted to Yale (which he father and grandfather went to) and did his masters at Harvard. President Obama went to Columbia University and to Harvard (just as his father went to Harvard).
I’m not Trump fan at all but it was trendy to say President Bush was stupid but to say President Obama is stupid is racist?
I’ve read both of President Obama’s books and I’m half way through reading President Bush’s memiors. Since it is on my mind I thought I’d post my thoughts.
A good friend of mine and his wife are having a baby and this morning they gave me a call saying that they were heading off to a hospital in Sydney and want me to housesit for them. They have a dog.
I love dogs and their house is really nice. It isn’t as close to the beach as my place but it has a huge backyard and a nice private deck.
I was planning on some outdoor speedo fun but it is overcast now and the forecast isn’t for ‘speedo friendly’ weather this week at all. Not sure I really want to have any random guys over to someone elses house but I figured if it was only outside it would be fine.
Perhaps a week of work lined up for me 🙁
I haven’t posted any pics of surf life saving guys in ages and I saw these pics the other day.
Unforuntately, with it getting colder the life saving guys aren’t out as much as they were over summer.
I wonder how many readers of this blog are surf club members…..
