You are very lucky that it went to an adjournment and that they didn’t seek an “ex-parte” order against you.

Wow this amazing, the courts clearly understand your situation and are trying to give you an opportunity to defend yourself. Even if you have decided not to contest the case, you still need to resolve the case wiht Speedo so they will withdraw the action against you. This cannot be done without legal respresentation. Please get legal advice from one of the free legal centres, I assure you they are very approachable and very skilled and discreet.

Another classic case of using a sledge-hammer to crack a walnut.
    I wish you well.
Your case even got a mention in the Daily Mail in England.

Speedo big dogs are “seeking damages” to its reputation because of its association with a gay website. This makes me so angry.

I believe you have no choice. According to the legal system in Australia (England, the U.S., etc.), when a person is charged with a crime, he MUST come to court to answer there for it, whether or not he has any money or a tie. If he does not, he is legally in contempt of court and the next time the judge will order the police to find him and bring him. You will then be put in jail and brought to court for the trial, which will be an even bigger media circus than now. If you, or a lawyer, does not argue your view in court, Speedo Corp. will win automatically. Do you think the judge is going to argue for your position? If you maintain your current course, it looks like a lose-lose situation for you. ( = you will stop using the Speedo brand name, either by your own choice or by a court mandated action. But you WILL stop using it.

The law has been created to protect the rights of citizens, including yours. But if you flaunt the law by refusing to come to court, you will pay the penalty.

If you are concerned about your parents and others knowing more about your activities than they do now, you can be sure that if the police bring you to court, the whole world will soon know your full legal name, address, and a great deal about your life and activities. The only way to prevent this is not to have a trial; contact the representative of the Speedo Corp. and see exactly what they want. They do not want your money; they know you have little. They want you to cease using their brand name in the titles of your websites. There probably is no reason you cannot write “Speedo” in the text of the website in referring to individuals or swimwear, but not in the title.

It appears that you are making things much more difficult for yourself than needs be.

The tattoo – wow what a challenge! This was so hard to do.
I didn’t get the answer for ages but refused to give in.
The text is Aramaic – this would be the language spoken by Jesus and used in the Mel Gibson film “The Passion of Christ”
I think it says something the same as “no regrets”
