This past weekend NBC here in the US was broadcasting the men’s diving try-outs for US Olympic Team. It was fun watching in HiDef all of the very good looking young guys in their Speedos, etc. Lots of eye-candy, indeed!

    Hey Don,

When I was in the US at Kip’s place he had HiDef and a 42″ LCD – he used to put on ‘movie’ night every Monday night (it was actuatually his sisters idea – she got it from Hugh Hefner – aparently he has a movie night every Monday at the PlayBoy Mansion).

If I get back to Colorado perhaps I’ll have to put on a couple of movies nights….

    Monday – old skool movies
    Tuesday – olympic diving

Can anyone else suggest movie nights for the rest of the week. I think perhaps this is a topic to be discussed on WhiteSpeedos.com.

    Hi Dave
    Let there be snow.
We were all holding our breath that snow would fall in Christchurch with that storm that raged up the country, But no, Now we are all cold with nothing to show for it.
Might have to head to Maruia hot pools next time snow is forcast, I wore my black speedos last time we were there, might have to wear the white aussie bums, slightly see through. 🙂 Only in the out door pools, We tent to like the naked only bath house.
Just had a look at the live cam for the peak. it looks like its going to be a fine day. The sun shining on the mountain looks great.

    Mike,

It is just after 1pm here (I drank a little too much last night so I slept in) and the weather has turned nasty. That front that came through – it snowed in Arrowtown but not in Queenstown itself (the freezing level was right at that point though).

I know the Maruia hot springs!!! I’ve speedoed it up there (I think it was black speedos as well). I haven’t been in the nude only area though.

Movie nights are great fun–hope yours are successful!

Did you see/hear about the following Speedo-related story?

I, personally, think that it should be more about the athlete and their own performance, not the suit they’re wearing and its technology. So, I’d be all for the fastskin and so forth things that Speedo has made, but on briefs, and then let the swimmers train up, shave like they used to, and rely primarily on themselves rather than any physical or psychological advantage they have by wearing a full-body suit.

At least we still have water polo and diving guys to ogle in the Olympics, eh? 😉

    Hi

I’m the photographer of these 2 images. These were taken in NZ in January 2008 and the guy posed for me at my request. These images have been stolen off my flickr site at some point, so I’m appealing to you to take these off your site please. I’ve also asked the Scottish guy to remove them from his site too. I have had quite a problem with people stealing images off my flickr site so I have belatedly marked many of them ‘friends only’. I feel a deep sense of betrayal when I find them on sites such as these, especially when I’m asking people for permission to photograph them. Thank you for your cooperation. Cheers
