I saw an article about personal trainer Paul James going on a junk food binge back in December and I have been meaning to post on here about it.
Paul wanted to see how his clients felt when trying to loose weight so he went from 80kgs to 120kgs.
These photos really hit home to me that people who are overweight and use the excuse of ‘big bones’ or ‘hereditary’ is just bullshit. I have a close friend who is way way overweight and the excuse that his family was fat prevents him from even trying. My friend looks just as big as Paul did at his max weight….

Hi, Dave.
Just a short comment to tell you that I enjoy your website very much. I also have a thrill for speedos and guys in them. Your site has been a lot of fun and source for many “pleasant” moments. By the way, I am from Brazil and your site ie beeing visisted from the opposite side of the world! Congrats on the success and keep the nice job.
Oh, if I may, you look just gorgeous in your speedos (I am considering that the photo on the top right of the page is yours).
Cheers!
Brad
Thanks for this post. Just shows junk food isn’t good for anyone. I very seldom eat at a “fast food eatery”. Every now and then I will eat a candy bar or a small bag of chips but is rare. I am 5’8″ and weigh about 150# (don’t have a metric conversion chat) but I swim bike hike as much as I can. Bedtime snack is an orange, apple, banana the good stuff. We Americans are particulary bad at being overweight and just too lazy to do anything about it.

Thanks for this post, Dave. As a personal trainer myself I agree with what you say. Over weight clients are the most difficult to work with but for the ones who really do want to lose weight and who exercise the rewards are huge.

John,
Great to hear that you agree…. a bit of hard work pays off.

Dave, the news is a bit old. PJ has lost the weight and has just posed for a shoot for “Mens’ Fitness”.
