I hope there aren’t too many sore heads this morning although I doubt that is the case. Last night I behaved myself and played the role of ‘Designated Driver Dave’.
When I finally got back home (about 2am) I was looking forward to having a drink or 5 but I was buggered and everyone else was asleep.
There was an amazingly hot little cutie at the party Kip, Kip’s sister and I went to BUT she was the daughter of some of the people there and they were old family friends of Kip’s so I was very well behaved (no alcohol was a good thing…. I’m not sure if after a skin full of Jack I would have been so well behaved).
Do any of you guys have new years resolutions? I’ve always got things I’m working on and working towards – I’ll have a think about it…. any suggestions?

Strangely enough, according to Shinto reckoning, 2009 is the last year of a nine-year cycle, so I take the auspice of having nine Speedo photos on the first day to be a good one! May there be as many real-life Speedo encounters for each of us this year who are reading this!
(And I love the photos–but some of the guys have very unfortunate looks on their faces, alas. Oh well…)
As for resolutions: nope, I’ve not done them for years, for a variety of reasons. First, they just don’t seem to work, and get forgotten or neglected fairly soon after. And second, there are far too many other major and minor projects and goals that I have set for myself constantly (mostly in terms of writing and publication), that I look at it as a good thing if I can simply manage to get around to even some of those as each calendar year passes. For someone in my position, two or three articles a year is considered quite respectable, but I try to aim for more like five to ten. If only publishers were as quick about these things as I often have been about producing them…
Yum. I can’t believe there was ever a time I didn’t like speedos.

If you ever think it is appropriate I’d love to read some of your publications.
